Well, I looks like this weekend is offically going to be a wash.
Although the storm will probably not hit us until late sunday night, it's safe to say it's probably going to get ugly out near Block well before the bulk of the storm hits. By the time it hits us, it should only be a cat. 1 or 2 storm, but it will still be plenty strong enough to really stir things up. If everyone is still up for this overnight trip to Block, I think we should reschedule for next weekend, Labor Day weekend. Sat. to Sun. again, or Sun. to Mon? |
Im in for next weekend. Sat to Sun will prolly be crazier than Sun night.
|
Given a preference, I'd rather go Sat-Sun, but I'd like to hear from others as well. Weather could potentially end up being the deciding factor again...

how far of a ride from ramp to block? what ramp do you use? last time i was at block it was a 10 hour trip from danvers in my old mans 36 tiara about 9 years ago. so i have no idea how far the run is from where every you leave from. and also, how runs slow so i can follow them, i dont know where im going. lol |
We launch from Ols Saybrook CT. Takes about 1 to 1.5 hrs depending if we stop for a beer on the way.
