Jeff actually chased Johnboy down on Sunday on the way back to the marina. Johnboy waited til Jeff got just past him and then gave it hell. Jeff was probably 2 boats ahead of John (when John nailed it) and he stayed right there. John did not catch Jeff, and Jeff did not pull away from John. John was running a steady 71-72 MPH against the current, and that was top speed for both boats running against a VERY strong current and VERY flat water. Now, our fearless leader could come on here and say "I wasnt wide open when I ran John, and I could have pulled away if I wanted to.", or he could say, " I gave it all I got and I couldnt pull away from Johnboy." Lets see hows this plays out!!!! :party-smiley-004::party-smiley-004: |
