This BL PR is how PR's should be done. The marina opens up their doors for the participants for the weekend. They clear out all the slips near the bar for the PR. Free weekend slip, travel lift, breakfast, diner, great after party on Sat., tee shirt, nice prices, etc. All off this for $200 and a nice chunk of coin is donated to charity on top of it.

There's no additional BS membership fees, no extra charges to do something unheard of, like have (gasp) passengers on your boat, the event is run flawlessly, and it's all about having a good time... it's not a "wham, bam, thank you ma'ma, I got your money and now I'm out of here!" show... these guys really open their doors and make a weekend out of it and give a ton of value to the participants. Even though the area isn't loaded with performance boats, they still draw people from all the surrounding states... and for good reason, it's a spectacular event and a great value!
