Yeah, but it's an atificial number, it's over propped so while the RPM might be low for the speed, the load is quite high at that RPM. Sounds like you need to go down a couple sizes on those props.

In flat water the 37OL is far superior to the 42X, but I'll just keep checking here, http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ , and pick my day to run him :evilb:

I wouldn't say far superior in flat, but I would certainly agree having 5 extra feet is a huge advantage in the rough. If you are looking for a race, Frank has similar package, or you can play with something larger like the Mad Hatter family Flamer soon enough! I don't think there will be may local vee's that will run with Flamer in the rough... or flat water for that matter! :evilb:

Now Kev on OTOH has a similar size boat and seems to be looking for a run... If one of the two of us can get off the dock, that could be fun. :party-smiley-004:

I may be out for a while on Sat for a shake down run (if the weather on Friday is decent). I might have some tuning to do, we'll see once it's in the water.

Wow Scot, alittle bit of an ego 1 there, but Adam seems pretty confident. This is going to be a good race with equal power and both #6 boats. So if Adam says Scot has the advantage in flat water...and Scot says Adam has the advantage in rough water, this race should happen in 1 to 2's so both boats handle about the same! NOW im excited about boating! :boat::boat:

I have little motors with small blowers. You guys with your 6' tall motors and inter coolers and #6 drives. You both have race boats mine is a family cruiser:evilb:
