I have spoken to Billy as well and as Chris said the run is on in full force. We should get a good turn out as well. All the event info is on billy's site.

Hmmm, the flyer I received appeared like it had Ken's OL on it. Well, at least Billy consistently knows what brand to use to represent the spirt of performance boating and poker runs! :party-smiley-004:

And yes the event is on and should be a great time!

Questions:
I have the entry form for the PR it says it is $400.00 okay I got that. Then it asks for # of crew @ $20.00 per, okay that is 4 x $20= $80.00. Then it says that each crew member must be a NPBA member and has to fill out the membership form, that is also 4 x $20 = $80.00 right? Then I was told there is a lunch in Montauk which is also $20.00 per head, another $80.00 right? I am confusing something here? So the cost for the boat and 4 crew is really $640.00? Someone set me straight if I have this wrong. Also why does each meber have to be a NPBA member some of my crew do not even own a boat?

Unlimited jd 07-18-2012 08:53 AM

Good questions, that would make it too pricey for me if that's the case

Sick Stinger 07-18-2012 09:27 AM

Also the 20 a head for lunch and what you get is a raping. Had a good time last year but in comparison to some other runs and cost not worth the coin.

Charge $1200 for a local PR today and I think you'd be one of one or two boats! :lolhit:

BTW, I forgot to say how nice it is of OP to be so supportive of this run... Thanks Chris!

THE OCEAN PERFORMANCE CIG.NOBODY CRYED AND SAID ANY BULL**** ABOUT RUNNING TO CLOSE as they were all into it.We ran at 80-84 mph with helicopter for 15-20 min. Scot told me this was the reason he did not want to do the poker run, he felt it could be unsafe.
