We went to Bar Harbor last year and I was able to cross one thing off my bucket list.... Riding in a radial powered bi-plane. On the way there we had stopped from lunch and there was a brochure for plane rides over Bar Harbor. (the tourist trap trapped me before I even got there)

I really didn't care about the scenery much, just the open cockpit- tail dragger-with a radial engine was all I wanted.

The pilot was great and talkative. If you're into this sorta thing, I would recommend it. $125 bucks for a 30 minute flight. I did it twice, once with each of my daughters.
