Dose any body know what the river levels are i heard they to dredge out the shipping channel and it will take years to bring the level back up to where it was/should be

been low as far as I know. The shipping lanes will be fine for boaters for sure, regardless it might affecting shipping as they need a much larger draft. From what I gather its not dredging, its what they decide farther up river and how much water they let in and out, and that goes off of rain fall.

They are low...doubt they had to dredge much of the channel...pretty deep from lake to locks but is narrow in some spots

no dredging of the channel happened. the channel has to be 88ft or more. last i heard the level is up about 1foot 6 inches from fall but still drastically low.
