Cape Cod guys: Noise-friendly ramps?
We usually boat out of Falmouth harbor, but the Excalibur has no mufflers and it looks like we won't have any before the weekend. Any suggestions on where we can drop in without a hassle? Hopefully we'll have it ready for the weekend.

Green Pond is more than fine in terms of ramp and dock space. Very short distance to the open water, the only downfall in the past has been the lack of parking space.

Yes, what Sutphen 606 said can be a problem. Lot's of fisherman use it. I use to go there all the time with my 30' Sutphen. It was awesome in the beginning nobody went there, but the word did get out. I have not been there in quite some time as the lot is not big enough to hold my rig (39' Sutphen) and they do not allow you to unhook and use 2 spaces. Never had a problem unloading, loading, or noise, etc. And is great as far as a short trip to the open water.

Great, thanks. We used to go there years ago (like in the mid-'80s) when I was a kid, but since they rebuilt the Falmouth Harbor ramp we've mainly been going there. I guess Green Pond will be our new spot!

They actually did the ramp over a few years ago. It's really nice. I would still go there if I could fit.
