How did your bottom paint work?

I'm planning to leave by Bullet in the salt next season, probably in New Bedford. Anyone around who leaves their hot boat in the salt? And since most boats are out now, how did your paint perform? I'm trying to figure what I want to bit on for bottom paint.:angry-smiley-038:

Definitely do NOT recommend leaving our type of boats sitting IN salt water for long periods. Week at a time maybe, but that's it; regardless of bottom painted or not.

I understand all that but this one already has some kind of black paint on the bottom and I don't want to deal with launching and parking any more. So I am figuring I already have to deal with this bottom and what to do with it .

Stack it at a marina.

I would like to stack it but it's not like Florida where there are all kinds of racks available. There is one around here which I used in the past but now they have very limited operating hours.

Not advisable

Get a floating lift and rent a well. How is the paint that is on there now? Was it epoxy barrier coated prior to painting, if not you will get blisters through the paint. Once you solve the bottom problem you can deal with your drives and everything else on the back being destroyed.

Don't do it!

OP:

This is what you need:

I did look at that post and thought it was interesting but after talking with him it didn't include the the one side pier equipment I would need and I don't know if the marina would allow me to hang permanent parts to their piers to make it all work,
