What no wake zones are exactly shut down. I am referring to after essex, I'm assuming the launch up the river will be no wake, and the bridge obviously (goodspeed). Is it clear after that?

Also, anyone up that way, is the river mostly clear of $hit, I'd like to keep the artillery free of depth charges......

I plan to wake the dead about 10am in Saybrook if anyone else is launching at that time...

River is usually clear of debris unless there is a storm/heavy rain. Watching Wednesday into Thursday as its supposed to be a good rain. They have postponed the run in years past due to too much rain. One year it brought the waters up so much that the beach everyone parks on disappeared.

All the no wake zones north of Haddam are still in effect . All the marinas and launches are still operating .
Don't know much about the river south of Haddam .
Expect some enforcement .
The river is clear right now but that will change depending on how much rain we get Thurs .
Please give a wide berth to all the pleasure craft especially the kayaks and canoes .

All no wake zones are still in effect Pat as dry dock boats are still being pulled in from the marinas. The river is pretty low right now, so the rain Wednesday shouldn't raise the levels too much.

I heard someone say they weren't in effect, I'm sure there will be enforcement. It's still nice out, doesn't surprise me. Sounds good. Thanks

not to sound like a pu$$y but has any thought been given to moving this run to saturday? the high for sunday is 52F which means morning temps will likely be in the low 40's. great for folks with full canopy's but sh!tty for us guys in open boats. saturday looks like 72F.
