Sebago lake poker run / fun run
 

A small group of us from Sebago are looking into bringing back the Sebago poker run, or at the least a fun run. I am looking to gauge interest.. Any thoughts?

Sounds like fun, hopefully you can put something together.

I'm in. If I can get my boat back together, I'm sure you would get at least 5-10 of us from Long Lake.

You should speak to someone from the Windham Rotary Club. If I remember right there were issues with the State of Maine wanting a piece of the pie when they used to hold the poker runs. I think that's why they stopped having it.

Thank you all for the interest. There were some issues with the "games of chance" laws in Maine, but it seams it may have been cleared up. We have a few options for charities to sponsor. Next step is getting one to get involved!

No idea when yet. We are starting from scratch and need to work out a lot of details.

I would watch from my boat like I have in the past.

Im in if its sometime in August...... Any Idea on a date yet?

Unfortunately not going to happen this year. We will keep looking into it, but an after location on the lake is an issue. We asked a local club to sponsor and provide a location it died.

That sucks! :(
