Default Boat ramp and parking for Peconic Bay

Can anyone recommend a ramp and place to park for the day to launch a 28' boat along the Peconic Bay this time of year? I will be heading from Nassau county and would like to explore the Bay this coming weekend.

Thanks for any help

Im a little late, but in the future the Riverhead town ramp in Jamesport is a great spot. Big parking lot. We launch 52’ and smaller boats there every weekend.

Thanks for the info.

I was out that way a few weeks to take a look at the ramp. Looks like a great option
