Recommended power for Fountain
 

Anyone in the Rochester area that can recommend a shop that knows marine performance. I have a 10 Meter Fountain that has non-matching 454's (one hot rodded, one not). I was thinking of going with 502's. Anyone have a line on used ones. Looking for advice...

Motors are '98 502 MPI/EFI's( whatever the designation that year). aprox. 265 hours on them. Owner looking to move to bigger HP. Has turned down $8,500 for the pair.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to hot rod your weak engine?

I would get in touch with Chris Martin. He can do the work and may be able to hook you up with used power if the ones 32storm is talking about don't work out.
