Mark, are those stefs pans? Ive got the 14qt. pans on mine. Put some good hydralic hoses on the bottom so you dont make a big mess in the bilge when you change oil. Are you going to dyno the motors? Brian

I think Dave made those 14qt pans. He makes many of the components in the engine. Yes the hose is going on the drain plug, thanks.
"Dyno" - S.O.P. (standard operating procedure)
It is mandatory that everything gets dynoed. Owners must be present too. It is automatically included with the price he gives you.

Those are Hardin Marine oil pans. I have seen them personally and they look like some really nice pans. I seem to always get first hand info as I stop in Dave's shop about every two-three days or so just to see all the neat stuff that's going on.
I pretty much watched Mark's engines get assmebled here, and there. He's still waiting on cams from Crower---he's not real happy about there service. It sounds as if he's going to be dealing with "rmbuilder"/Bob from now on with custom cam stuff.
I walked in Dave's shop today and...it's ALL assembled except for cam installation and induction system....then on the dyno it goes. Dave makes a plan, and is a highly talented craftsman/fabricator. That boy don't mess around. Heck, Dave even does the crank welding repair for Oliver's cranks. You're going to be a new man with your boat next year Mark! Congrats!
Oh yeah, I forgot about the RED paint that needs to on 'em! I would prefer YELLAm------but I suppose RED will have to do being that they ain't my engines!
I guess RED is in for now (Mark and Doug), but that's about the way it goes for us poor YELLER FELLER FOLK at times.
