Beach party sat Sept. 9th?
Would anyone here be interested in doing a beach party on saturday Sept. 9th? If we are gonna do it, it better be pretty soon. There will be a couple visitors in from out of town with a Cig gladiator and a 38 Sonic. They would love to get together with us for a fun run, and I thought that it'd be kinda nice to head to a beach where we could anchor together and shoot the BS.
Anyone interested in attending, post away and let's hear your thoughts.

Frank and Dan, Bob Zubik is right.... bring that beach party and some of those Chi-town area boats up to Hardy Dam for the "Hot Boat Weekend"---only about 50 more miles north of Wesseldyk's shop and Dave is planning on being there! There's going to be A LOT of boats there with all kinds of hardware from mild to wild, 17-18 miles of water for boating. Some Chi-town guys are already coming. Many boats come from out of state for this event. You will have fun! At least come up for one day---Saturday and you can be back to Chicago area for boating on Sunday. Bob can fill you in....give it some thought! Mark

Mark, I can't see towing the boat 8 hrs. to use it for one day (4 hours each way). Then by the time we get home sat. night, you're exhausted to go out on sunday.
Takes me 20 minutes to get from our house to the harbor, and I know I always have a slip to leave it there for as long as we want.
Is this run on an inland lake? or lake Michigan?

It is on a inland lake that is 18 miles long. You can stretch the legs of Fountain any time of the day on Hardy, no Lake Michigan water to worry about.
