I pulled the Vortechs and sold them. I was afraid of breaking the transmissions with that much power. The boat was never dialed in with the blower setup and it was getting much faster everytime I made a change. It was an easy 100+ mph boat with the blowers. I am looking for a bullet proof setup so the blowers came off. Now this is it. Twin 600 hp naturally aspirated and 85 mph. I did a lot of testing in the fall without the blowers. It could be tweaked for more speed as I am only running some three blades but the boat runs so good with this setup. Jumps hard on plane, never blows out in corners and turns on a dime without the steps. Super Speedmasters should not break like Bravos might with this power. Frank (10x) the boat runs a 100% better than the last time you were in it. Idles great and never stalls like it was doing before. I think it may go up for sale this winter. I may get another small cat as a second boat.
