Running out of hotel rooms
Hey guys,
I have 2 rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn, and they said there are only a few left. This hotel is where all of the big $ boats where such as Bracardi Silver, Pier 57, Callan, and many others. Marc Blondin moved the date to July so we don't have to deal with the cold and fog. Talk about an expensive boat run, I had to totally rebuild one of my Arneson drives which totalled about $7000.00. I will be in the Ozarks for the 4th and coming home to do the SOTW Poker Run. Looking forward to it and hope that many of you go also.

Boat Pool
If you were never at a poker run, this one is one of the best to see. Be sure to bring a camera to see some incredible boats and tow riggs. If you want to go, I am sure we can get a bunch of boats and fill the boats to split some of the costs. $1000 / 4 people is $250 per person which includes Friday dinner, Sat. 3 meals, a jacket, 4 T-shirts, and other misc. This is not that bad. If you want to go and want riders to split the cost, post your boat to get riders. Or riders that want help with the cost, post on this site.

Anyone in the Chicago area looking to hop on someone's boat and share expenses should email Gary: [email protected]
I think he's got room for 2 more.

If there are still some openings left on any of your boats please let me know. My father and I always talked about running in a poker run we never seem to find the time. If I got a chance to attended Smoke on the Water for my first poker run, I'd be more then willing to pay the $250.00 cover and would even throw down on gas!
