No pics for now. Cams are in, boat put into storage, ready for dyno. Wesco Racing Engines did a years worth of work in a few months.

We fired it up and took a cruise on Lake Michigan. The water was perfectly flat. Unbelievable. Everything checked out and it has a clean bill of health.

The baby may slow your wife's boating down but that is more the reason yours should increase.

You may as well start thumbing through the magazines and look for an old man's cruiser.

The way I look at it, the 48 OE would be "like" a big cruiser boat.

Splashing the OE on Lake Erie today. Took it out a couple weks ago on Lake Michigan and it was flat as a pancake. Today, Lake Erie is it old ugly self with a 10-20 east wind and they are rolling pretty good. We will get wet and the water is still really cold. :eek:

Not sure yet. Been a busy year. Dave told me that you are bringing the Skater to Chicago Poker Run this year. There is an airport less than a mile from the marina. Hint hint!!!!

Hey dude, I have been hearing good things about your boat. Pics look great.

The dyno read 940hp at 6000rpm with 93 octane. 600cu.in. Dart BigM, Dart Aluminum heads, Jesel, hydralic roller set up. Good stuff but conservative on hp. May even change pullys to 4lbs of boost max. Baby on the way!!! :eek:

I saw those engines Saturday. Looking pretty spiiffy. The Arnesons need to be painted metallic silver before they are thrown back on the transom.

The silver won't match the exterior of the boat. So far you, Frank and Dave all said silver but I am sticking to black to match the black accents in the paint job.

Well, I asked 4 girls what color would look better when showing them a picture, they all agreed with me. Red and gray/silver is a clash. When it comes to asking about color or style, I always listen to chics. It looks good on your boat.
