You should post some pictures of the re-rigging. I would love to see what you've done and how it looks.

One of my fave boats of all time! Are you replacing the motors and drives?

Hello Jon, your profile says you have a 39' Ocean Express. What do you think about it and more specifically what do you think of the 48 Express? I have a 35' Cafe Racer and looking for a change.

Buy Chasin The Deal and put big Paul Pfaff or Boostpower motors in it. Pfaff uses stress-relief shaking to make the engine parts very strong. |
I have video of the boat running back in the 90s at the Pier 33 poker run
I ran with Steve Gordon (Original owner) Back in the day I also have him on video at the first year of our poker run 2001 "Smoke ON The Water" Ineed to get a converter for VHS TO DVD i want to put all my old vids on disc anyone know the best unit (Not to expensive) to transfer ? |

You'll need at least an F650 to tow it with. OEs are heavy boats, especially the 48s. Have you ever owned a boat that big? Storage and dockage? One thing's for sure, it will handle big pacific water!

I pull mine with a Ford F350 4x4. Cruise 70-75, max 85-90 not intentional. Jake break works great when stopping. A F450 would be the best which handles #24,500 with a fifth wheel.
