Currently in refresh on a May 2011 target...took off solid fairing and converted OE windshield (Ross had the last new one still in the box) to the cockpit, and updated engine hatch with custom scoops from John at Superboat.
Changing the shafts to 26 spline, and looking forward to some 21-degree rake props in the spring.
(The truck doesn't even know the boat is on the hitch!)

That wasnt the triple boat converted to twin was it? There's one thats been sitting here in CT un-used for 6-7+ years. Its the one with the checkered all over the bow.

I purchased this boat last year in Texas...it's been in the area for about 6+ years, no triples.
Re-painted, (graphics still in design), new fuel tanks, 572's refreshed, new carbon fiber style interior, gauges re-faced, new #6 props, and back into the water in the spring.
Photos show boat as purchased, and new cockpit update.

What speeds did you see before the refresh?

Did not push motors when boat purchased last year.
(Internal condition not verified)
Refresh, dyno, then baseline next spring.
Old school ASD8 shaft design (25 spline prop selection limits) has now also been updated so I'm interested in tracking Dave's 21 degree rake combination.

(Photo shows engines just removed, getting ready to be refreshed.)

(Additional photos show what it takes to love this boat hobby...good friends with skills!
(Preferably ones that can weld and have a fork-lift), and the do-it-yourself attitude when you need to build something you need and don't have....such as the first and only golf cart frame, steering wheel welded in backwards, ASD service cart!

Looking good Paul! That's big pimpin' for sure! :drink:

Hopefully, I'll be out your way sometime next spring. Looking forward to a ride in that beast!
