Our cat is on there it is NAS-T they call it nasty though. I cant wait to show you the pictures of what it looks like now. I will be out all over Lake St. Clair, Lake Huron, and Lake Erie. It will be a blast. Do any of you guys know where the Hunter boat is now a days. It was a 39 Express as well. By the way i have seen Jaws run and that is a bad boat. I would love to see the boat today after you restored her.

I just talked with Ross Jr. and he want pictures of all Ocean Express boats for his website. Post some pictures here on the board. Jaws is now Pure Addrenelene(sp?) on earlier posts. Click on classified under OE section.

Reserve July 30, 2005 weekend for the LEOPA Poker Run. I am working with Ross Jr. to make a huge Ocean Express gathering because it is a great central location as well as an awesome event.

I will try to gather some of the Hunter Boat pictures to give to Ross or to RJ so they can add them to the collection. Also the pictures of NAS-T when she is done. jesssssssssssssss.

Most of all express cats are in the great lakes correct? I think it would be a blast to see you guys out on the water this summer if you are around or do your boating in the great lakes. Do any of you guys run poker runs?

What is LEOPA run? We are doing SOTW and 1000 island, miami to key west, maybe boyne poker run and maybe sarasota in april. That is what we are thinking.

Save July 30, 2005 and plan on being in Monroe Michigan. Working with Ross Jr. to help get a huge gathering of Ocean Express Cats. Right there in your state. Hopefully will see the new 49' cat at this run. Look up www.LEOPA.com

LEOPA is always a good time. I go even without a boat.Good people and a chance for me to see old friends. The wife and I should show up in the cat this year.Would be great to get as many OE's ,etc together. GENE

Ratical Graphics out of Union, MO. They paint MTI s and Black Thunder boats. After all layers of the paint are done, they are putting 7 coats of clear and sand between each layer.

Here is one of the power plants. Transmissions are going drysumped, and the Arnesons are getting resealed with new gasket kits. Mounting the engine hatch hinges in the front to open in the back just like Nortechs.

I put new stringers in my boat's engine compartment. I do not have the motor mounting plates on the side of my boat. I have through bolted "L" brackets now.

Mark, not sure if you were asking me, but my boat is a OEP 25 1987 with twin Johnson V8 outboards. Was originally spec built for Ken Stafford, North East apba commisioner in the day. I guess he used to whip up on Fountains pretty bad back in the day....Kind of a personal thing I'm told.
Ross Jr. says that Ross said he would never put those motors on another cat cause the were too "%$*&^)*(*&^(_*"fast.
I spoke with Ken and he claimed to have done 118 at OMC when Gary Garbarecht was still around.

Oh yeah, Has some 4 blade 27 wheels now. 118 was on 32's.
