[QUOTE=Wazzup Racing]Listen up. We have had some talks with the guys up here. The slaming OSS and SBI has to stop. I have spoken personally with some of top ranking Slammers and they have agreed to stop. As for the rest, We are asking you nicely to back off. You are causing damage in ways you could not even imagine. Right down to myself loosing a very good potential sponsor. Many of us enjoy OSO. Many of us abuse OSO. So I am asking Nicely. If you wish to continue we have made a list of the slammers and we will petition OSO to have you removed from the forum. We have asked over and over. This is it. No I dont think who I am or that I am better than anyone else. But I seem to have more common sense than most. I love this sport and have invested a lot of time in trying to help it grow, So be part of the solution not the problem Thankyou Smitty Any Questions 732 920 3945[/QUOTE

I couldn't agree more.

Thanks Smitty, that was well said and I hope people take it in the way it was intended. (Behave or Augie will send the boyz in the Caddy for a visit.)

I've never understood why one side must be evil for the other side to be good. It is what it is, and time is the only thing that will make adjustments.

The season is young and there's an abundance of races across the country this year. I hope you all find a way to enjoy this sport as a participant or spectator. I know I enjoy every event I attend, SBI/OSS/OPA, it's always a good time to me.

So, to quote a famous OSO author, "Shut up and race". :evilb:

Good luck and safe racing in Marathon and Pickwick.

I do not hate OSS , I just don`t like the fact they have no beginner class and they are not trying hard enough to fix the problems with the sport that we all love and care for.
Trust me i loved watching the Key West race with all those Super cats and love to see it again.

Mike -I agree there is alot of room for improvement and at OSS we have owners meetings on a regular basis and have lots of imput from some very dedicated guys.I've always been for unification, two years ago I even arranged a meeting with Reggie,John, and MA and they didn't kill each other but, they didn't shake hands either.I don't know the answer but, if we treat each other with deserved respect eventually something good will happen.Lets hope so! Mike,

As much as I tried to get the "Affordable True Entry Level Class" (Single Outboard Boats) on the ticket for "ALL Venues",
I kind of like the current situation.

The SBI organization can be a great place to start. After all, they offer the P-Classes. OSS can be that ultimate goal one can reach for as their racing career progresses.

Picture it as one that races circle tracks such as "Wall Stadium" to get their experience and then eventually move up to the Busch Series and Nascar. Truex would be the perfect example..... ;)

Sure one can argue that there are not enough race boats to go around to support two organizations, but I feel Offshore along with most of the other race classes in APBA,(OPC in particular) the boat counts are down. It simply has been a trend for a while. Could it be that our country is at WAR? Could it be that people have left because of the politics seen in racing? The economy was in a lull? How about little or no Boat Manufacturing Sponsorships? Only those that have left the racing community can actually explain why they left.

OSS is on the right track with only having 5 classes for their organization.

SBI needs more classes because of how they try to accommodate so many different boats. It's understandable.

If as much effort went into seeing how both organizations can co-exist as the effort put into fighting one another, it could probably work.

Could you imagine every race having both organizations in the same place on the same weekend?

SBI race on Saturday and OSS race on Sunday? Nice concept huh? Hopefully one day we will see it. All that, and both organizations can keep their own identities and rules.... ;)

Gary hit it on the head. RESPECT! The Jersey Boyz have ALWAYS been about RESPECT to others...and having FUN but without giving RESPECT you ain't gonna get any! OSS has their thing(and it's good for them) and SBI/APBA/UIM has their own(and that's good for them)...RESPECT what your fellow racer choses to do and each other.
