O.S.S. Health!
 

I was talking to a close friend of mine yesterday who is a fellow racer who has been racing in another organization. I asked him if he had a ride and which circuit he was running this year. In the course of our conversation he repeated some rumor mill info that was basically a re-run of a conversation that we had while our respective World's were going on. For the most part I really do not like getting involved with this oh so old controversy. This "STUFF" is nothing new. It was going on in 1977 when I got into Offshore and sad to say it is live and well. I will not repeat the "STUFF" . I just want anyone who is concerned over our "OSS" direction to know that we have 46-FORTY-SIX teams signed for the year with intentions to run every race, We have six -6 more who will run part time. These are the teams we know about and my guess would be that a few will sign up at the last minute as always. We currently are in the process of choosing the spot where our national's will be . We have 3-three choices. We want to be in Key West for the World's! I have the privilage of serving my brothers on our board of directors as well as being the Treasurer for O.S.S. Our financial position is excellent. Without giving away the farm I would just say that if need be we will promote and produce race's at will. We got the jing! About the rumor mill I say live and let live but when I hear the total bull-**** that I heard yesterday I have got to respond. My constituants take the high road in these issues and refuse to dignify these rumors with response. I am off of the street and have no such dignity. Anyway I am totally pumped about this year and i want to invite all players involved in our sport to come to a race or all of our race's. Like the man say's "Lets Get It On"!!!!!!!!!!

No worries here, since we started running OSS we have been impressed everytime with the drive, professionalism and momentum of the organization. Taking offshore to new markets. Not to mention the competition is at the highest level and getting better every race(with the exception of randy). See you all in Destin.......

Hey Stan....maybe you can help me and I think you already did by your post...I e-mailed OSO twice back in Dec. and didn't hear anything back, but I heard there was some computer problems...
I asked if I was going to able to race even though I would not be doing all the races....
So if we do 4 or 5 races with OSO...will we still be able to race the Worlds....
