Callan Marine joins OSSCX
1 Attachment(s)
"We are scrambling to have the boat ready for Pickwick" reports Dave Callan from New York. His boat, Miss Longlite, has just joined the ranks of the OSS Extreme Cats, and will battle against such worthy adversaries as Dave Scott's Budweiser Select, Wes Wyatt's DF Young, and Rick Perthel's Pair-A-Dice. The boat is Dave Callan inside-out: It is built by Callan Marine, powered by two Torque V12 engines, and is named after Longlite, another Callan company. Dave Callan drives, John Cosker throttles.

Re: Callan Marine joins OSSCX
The Callan team brings a very professional and competitive challenge to the class. Really glad to hear this and look forward to seeing them at the races. I also understand that CRC will be joining us in the Extreme class as well. Should be a very interesting year with all of these teams racing in what should be the fastest class in offshore racing history. Rumor has it that another team may be considering moving up to join us also. :drink:
