OSS Cat OB

Well the course is posted, the talk of big water is circulating,
its now time for round 3 in OSS Cat OB, will MOJO take another race???

Re: OSS Cat OB

I'm hoping that Stickerboy wins, but it's hard to bet against Gary Ballough if the water is big.

It's going o be exciting . GB is the king of big. Beery cuda showed his stuff in St pete's big Thursday race and Mojo always seems to have their MOJO tanks on full speed. Airspeed ran a stong race in ft myers. The Shark found it's way through the roughstuff last year and with Rob Nuziato (hulk) in the boat rough water is in the resume. Ryan can run some big water Ft Lauderdale 05 proved that. Onething for sure it's going to be exciting.

Marc

I'm goin with the Shark

Berns.... It is real. Ask anyone on the end of the Ft Laud Pier ... It was quiet for quite a while up there.

He'll Dan and I used to shred everywhere in our 30 Spectres. It's a great boat...she'll launch.

Can't wait for the OB SVL race.

ya know this is a tuff class for me. im partial to this class cause i own a 30 spectre with eggbeaters. i have gobs of respect for you guys running these nasty lil bastards. im not running mine near as hard and the rush i get is unexplainable, gotta be off the hook strapped inside 1 of these missles under those conditions. my hats off to you guys. good luck and be safe to each and everyone of you.

After the good wash down we gave you in Ft Myers, I'm sure your boat will be at least 2 mph faster in PR. :D

Good luck in PR, let the SHARK feast on a healthy meal of CUDA and MOJO!

Two flat water races into the season, is too early to tell who the top dog is...... don't write the old man off just yet.

Re: OSS Cat OB

I have to agree with Ryan. While I am a Sharkboy through and through, nothing can replace years of experiance that Gary has over top of everyone. In my book Gary is still THE MAN whether he is winning or not. So don't just throw him to the wayside just yet. If PR is going to be rough as I am hearing, GB will have everything being said on this thread turned upside down for sure.

Bern,

Gary already won Pt Pleasant years back when he was running the first AMT/Doug Wright which later down the line became Berry Cuda that was raced last year. Brett(Bad Apple) who now races with Instigator was his driver at the time.

7 national
5 world title in super stock class

And to top it a true sportsman the first guy to congratulate a competator on a great race.

Gary Ballough has hardly been replaced by two wins in 06'.

I compete with all these guys and if you look at Tammy Pages photos I congratulated MOJO right after the FT Myers race. They have had two very strong runs but like ryan said its a long season ahead.

I expect to see GB out in front of MOJO.

OSS racing is very competative and "rubrail to rubrail"

Rubrails.........? :D

I know you were in ft myers we were all in the turns together and the cat lite had several collisions. I put rubrails in quotations because we have none.

Dan

Ryan Beckley 06-03-2006 03:50 PM

Re: OSS Cat OB

Yea but there aren't any rubrails on any boats in our class.

Just bustin' ballz........ :D

Be safe in PR, unfortunately I'll be at the J-ville Poker Run instead.

Jackson ville is a cool run. A few years ago we ran my 24 there 110+ boats and we were the first to the first stop. PR should be fun we'll give em a run if we can see.......

ya remember what Harry said in Days of Thunder right !?!?!? Rubbins Racin...If You Aint Rubbin Then You Aint Racin :drink:

Ryan Beckley 06-03-2006 11:20 PM

Re: OSS Cat OB

We don't want any rubbin in our class. The guys that run these boats know enough about our boats not to have to run into each other. It won't go over very well if somone runs into our boat on the race course. Peolple just need to pay attention to there surroundings and remember there are other boats out there.

TTREMELLEN 06-04-2006 07:12 AM

Re: OSS Cat OB

Gary is hardly out, he and Mike will figure the boat out soon enough! Then watch out, Gary is THE MAN in our class, he has set most of the standards we all chase after in every race. This year is a tough year with a lot ahead of us, everybody will win some and we all will lose some....that's racing! See you all in P.R.

Anyone assuming GB "the old man" is out because of the poll?

I can garantee not one of the racers is. That's for sure. GB is The king of big!

You guys are really going to put ona show next Sat.
