Re: OSS SCL Puerto Rico
coming from a team that has "cocky" boldly written right on it, these guys clearly redefine and give a whole new meaning to the word. im completely confused. two races down and this boat isnt even a contender for the lead? the only accomplishment to date is demolition derby (ill give them the lead in that dept.) im not interested in hearing what your going to do to this class, tell me what youve done???? and after reading up on these special motors that are in that boat, it just stamps what we already knew. i cant imagine the frustration one must feel when you cheat, post it, and still get taught a lesson on the course! where does one go from here?
i would like to end this by "put up or shut up"....talk is cheap.....open your wallet and put your money where your mouth is. if toronto is your next race o.k....................
$25000?, $50,000.? let me know

There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general: (1) Recklessness, which leads to destruction; (2) cowardice, which leads to capture; (3) a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults; (4) a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame; (5) over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble.

Re: OSS SCL Puerto Rico
I was joking around and took it to far. To whom ever i offended i am sincerely sorry and i hope we can all still be friends. Be safe in PR and have one hell of a race. I look forward to Toronto when we can all do battle again. This is by far the best class out there and everybody in it are all tough class act competitors. Again let me say i am sorry for what was said and in the end i hope we can all still be fierce competitors but most of all FRIENDS!

Re: OSS SCL Puerto Rico
This is Randy Kent, Owner of Speed Racer. First off I would like to say that I'm PROUD to race with the best racers out there. Along with the OSS, I truly think everyone is a class act. I just joined OSO today so that I may reply to this post. I agree with Kilo Kat and his words. I may be new to the OSS but I'm not new to the sport, This is my 17th cat and my 37th boat. I was raised at LOTO and have been around boats my whole life. I would like to set the record strait, None of what has been said and I mean NONE! has come from me. I respect everyone I race with, and anyone that truly knows me will tell you that what everyone has portrayed me as is far from the truth. I will go out of my way to help anyone. After the race in Fort Myers I spent so time talking with both HOOTERS and POPEYES and apologized for any hard feelings and wished them well. I have spent some time with Mike Tomlinson on the phone and in person to help me understand what I did wrong so that I can learn from the experience and become and better and safer racer. I wish I was with you all in PR but I thought it was better served for us to stay and fix the boat and get some seat time with the boat. I think we have some good potential to win, but the best in our class have a 2 year head start and we have some catching up to do. This is not the way I want our team portrayed, and I will do my best to earn your respect in our class. As everyone in our class, I will race aggressive! But only to win, NOT hurt myself or anyone else. So please! If you don't truly know me, don't write these things until everyone has the facts. Good luck guy's in PR and have a safe trip! See ya all in Toronto!
Sincerely,
Randy Kent
