Here's the site for the whole deal...should be a frickin' blast! I'm sure the race times are VERY tentative with the amount of boats that will be there but at least there is a plan. Sure boat count will determine what classes will run what start.

Check out how many concerts are going on....

I dont remember the year but there was a Pro Series race in SC a few years ago and racing was Sat and Sun. With the boat count seemingly continuing to go up it may have to be a two day race.

That year was 2000

It shows 3 races on Sun. only. What times and when are P class races? I am asking so that I can determine if I should bring 2 boats to race.

I'm sure we would have heard something if they were gonna breakaway from the norm (sundays). remember that registration is friday only and testing is most the day saturday.

As for running two boats....DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: St. Clair time table

this link was just added to the website.
http://www.stclairrace.com/schedule.htm

In 2000 they ran everyone else on Saturday and only Super V's and Super Cats on that Sunday, if my memory serves me. I believe there were at least 75 boats that year. They could of easily ran everything in one day.
I'll never forget the sight of a 25 boat start in Factory that year 2000 was a great year. This year is looking to be just as good if not better.

The noon race is the OPA race, the other two are OSS races.

Randy, bring them, we'll take care of one while you get in the other boat.

Should be a show with close to 40 boats running around at one time.

is going to be ''THE WOLRDS IN THE NORTH""

Re: St. Clair time table

If I'm hearing this right ALL OPA boats will run at one time 12:00 and the SVL,COB,SV and SCL run at 1:30 And SC,Turbine,PX cat and PX vee run at 3:00.
I think they need 1 more race in there somewhere! If that's the line up its going to be to busy in the second race. I vote to squeeze in a 4th race.

No Turbines, they are being fixed.

I confirmed this with Smitty a few hours ago.

Hell, I thought there'd be two OPA races and three OSS races.

They hurt the bottom in the big Cali waves and it started to delam. Its at Skater now.

The big Vee has blow motors. Just Lavey will be there and maybe the blue support truck.

Platinum is getting bottom fixed; 51 Outerlimits is getting new transmissions; 42 Apache P4-60+ Still Got It getting new engines; Big Support rig getting a new look..... look for it in Orange Beach.

Catalina Rum Run was tough on some of the equipment. I know that John, Scott, Marc and the rest of the AMF Team regret that they are not able to participate in St. Clair this year as this is one of our favorite venues. Equipment repairs and upgrades have to be done and the show will be ready for Orange Beach.

Laura, Robbie and Chef Tommy may be around to watch the races and enjoy the weekend for a change. Maybe someone can cook for them this race weekend :D

Re: St. Clair time table

Unfortunately, the amount of races we can squeeze in to our Coast Guard approved racing time window can be affected by freighters transiting the course. Bob Currier at race control will have the best possible handle on the situation and with the referees, schedule the races in the safest way possible to get them all in. The P-classes will race first at noon and the rest will follow as long as there is a window between freighters. This is part of racing in St. Clair but there os nobody better at coordinating this than Mr. Currier. It's a year long endeavor.

Mesablue, in 2000 we had 98 boats registered and 96 ran. BWORA put that together with 6 weeks notice. We do know how to put on a race, even with freighters!!!!

I stand corrected I knew my memory was going to the dogs. You guys put on a fine show every year I don't know where I got the 75 number from. But I do remember it was a great show that year.

Mr. Brunner you and the rest of the bunch in the BWORA do a great job every year. My hats off to everyone. :drink:
Its to bad the boats cant run around the freighters anymore, it sure made for some great photos back then.

Once again good luck, and as always we know it will be another great year.
