I'm still confused..if you are correct in that Byrider and Travis broke on Saturday and did not start on Sunday...how was it determined that Byrider got 3rd place points and Travis got 4th place points?

It was announced in the drivers meeting that any boats that had not raced with OSS this year would be "scored separately" so as not to influence the results for the National Title. This was Travis Racing's first OSS race this year. Travis Racing and Byrider being equal with a DNF on Saturday and a DNS on Sunday, would have Byrider scored higher for this reason. It may well be Byrider completed more laps before breaking than Travis did. Either way Mike Tomlinson can give you an official answer.
If you want to know what "scored separately" means, you'll have to get that from an OSS official.
It was nice seeing old friends again. Thanks for coming west.

Thanks for the info.
Scoring for Las Vegas sounds complicated... too much for my feeble mind to comprehend. Besides, if it works for the Teams, it works for me.
I did't realized there was a competition for OSS teams on Saturday. Did they run for start lane position?

Mike,
Congrats on you 2nd place finish. Bet it feels good to have a competitive boat with unbreakable #6's hanging on the stern. With a little more seat time and some tweaking you should be the team to beat in Destin.
