Could someone explain the results for the boats that have 0 laps...0 miles...and received points?

Ceasers Resorts and Proffessional Marine actually started , but broke. Why they have no times or laps, Im not sure.

Byrider and Travis broke, while testing on Saturday. They DNS but still received last place points.

Im assuming if a team does everything they can to repair their boat and are unsuccessful, they receive points whether they start or not.

That is my understanding

Now I get it, no need to respond to my last post, only 2 boats in Super V... makes more sense.

I'm still confused..if you are correct in that Byrider and Travis broke on Saturday and did not start on Sunday...how was it determined that Byrider got 3rd place points and Travis got 4th place points?
