Hammer Strikes Again
 

Warpaint once again needs to prase the Crews "Hammer". With only 45 days to completely change the setup on our boat, again he refused to give up....the setup proved we are in the right direction. This couldn't have been done without Ron Roman, the help of his chief Matt and Kurts Marine.
The only negative is, it may have cost him the championships....double throttling, double setups, double boats, double tired........He still never gave up!!!!!! Thats a true racer.

When I watch that boat run, it's like a Chevy, running with the Lamborghini's. God I love those Chevys. Keep up the good work, she's coming along. Smitty

Both Bob and "Hammer" are awesome individuals and fierce competitors. Am genuinely proud to know them and to be able to call them friends. :drink:

Tom, you got it! It was definitely a pleasure to race with you....I look forward to next year.
As far as Hammer....I prepared for him getting into the boat by bungee cording the throttles forward and taking the boat out for a ride.

That boat has really made some strides over the season.

It's all in the setup. Ron seems to be getting it hooked up real well...

Bob,

Seeing the warpaint boat in the pits always makes me smile. You always have a positive attitude and can't wait to get out and race. As for the "Hammer".!!!!!!! Real piece of work...we need more like him! He really made that boat hummm on Sunday. Looking forward to next year
