The Wahoo Class 5 Bat Boat will be there.

This will be an OSS Points race with a $50,000 prize purse.

What is the local airport? Any Hotels that are sponsoring OSS?

You can fly into Las Vegas or Pheonix it's a few hour drive from there. We just booked rooms at the Days Inn for a pretty good rate. It looks like 15-20 OSS Boats Plus the POPRA boats will be there.

For now, you can find info about hotels etc at www.pacificoffshore.com and www.lakeracerllc.com.

Look for 200 boats in the Poker Run on Friday, then racing on the weekend. This is supposed to be the biggest event of the year for Havasu. It should be an awesome weekend in the desert.

PS - the drive from Vegas is supposed to be much nicer than the drive from Phoenix.

Best to fly into Vegas, anyone needing a ride from Phoenix just let us know, we will be leaving on Wed and Thurs. Could be bigest One Design Showing ever.... If both West Coast guys can make it we will have nine.

Miss Geico and Bud LIght make the show.Why wouldnt they show for a points race with $50000 in prise money.They may need those points to get their titles if there is mechanical problems at a future race.Comon guys -show up.The fans want you.

Its not that we would not love to be in Havasu, it is just logistically impossible. Back in January we plan our schedule
of 20 races, 10 boat shows, and numerous public appearances. It takes time to move all of our equipment and house all of our people. We pur SanDiego on our schedule as a POPRA event because Haggin likes to support all sanctioning bodies.
The Havasu event only became a combined event after we had previously scheduled stuff for that time frame.
The Platinum will be at the Jacksonville Boat Show until Tues making it impossible to prep, get race ready and get to AZ.
The MTI is scheduled to be in Nebraska to meet Warren Buffet
on the 28th, the Caveman, safety boat and Mystic need to be in Ft Lauderdale on the 30th to Shoot a GEICO commercial and race on the 3rd.
We are in bad graces with the DOT for running 24/7 to do what we do and we MUST run legal from now on and we just cannot make it happin.
We are truly dissappointed but I hope you understand

Scotty, bring the Caveman boat for the Poker run and speed run. You don't need to bring the whole circus, just make a showing.
