jenni winds are changing to the south southwest, HMMMM thats what I like to hear, shouldmake for some great shots if so!!!!! also, Jenni there are some holes on the course that always catches people off guard. use your test session wisely!! |
Careful when comparing to lake swell sizes.
|
i'm okay with swells just not 8 ft ones!

Test as little as possible and save your equipment for the race. Not breaking is a big factor in big water and none of us have any self control to slow down. There have been more spin-outs, trips and stuffs at the turn closest to the outlet than any other race course we race on. The water there is CRAZY. If its kicken turn 1 normally has some good size swells that will knock the air out of your lungs if you land on your side. If you land flat you most likely wont walk for 2-3 days but those are your choices. Its all fun until 1/2 way into the race you realize you are light headed and probably are having some heat stroke. The good news is all your competitors are probably crying like little girls at this point and trying to think of ways they can come back in and say they had a problem.
