How about a list of the basic requirements. I know last year we bought, and did a lot of things that really were not needed, but were in the popra rule book. I know there are not a lot of retired race boats in the midwest to drag out, but maybe some pleasure guys wanting to try.

The basics are jackets, helmets and padding on the windshield frame and exposed cleats. Oh, and racing numbers!

So is safe to assume if any "p" class boat has competed in OPA or SBI this year they are good to race?

Is this safer than the " POKER RUNS " that EXTREME BOATS MAG- was raggin on for a couple years ?
Remmember that was a big deal Who Was That ? Made a BIG stink .

Oh welll I'm sure theyve forgiven and forgot .

Yes, that's correct. Plus it looks like we'll have some first time racers too.

The Pro-Am race will also have full safety and medical on the water and in the air.

So "First time "racers in your'e opinion have more right to be in a RACE atmosphere than " POKER RUNNER's " who do 5 to 6 events a season ? You Know the ones you tore the hell out of !!

Are You the same guy who wrote all those safety articles ? I ,m beginning to doubt it .
