Does anyone have a actual count of the boats from OSS that WILL NOT be coming to KW ?? What r we really talking about, from the conversation i have had it looks like most of the boats other then a few of the SVL and possible a few SCL. Is this entire thread about 8-10 boats that cant afford to make the trip ???
I guess first we need to see what boats and how many and possible start there, like i said 90 % of the OSS boats have already sent in their paper work and will be there. So if their r a few that r having trouble many we can help to get the few remaining boats there . Just a suggestion and someplace to start...

I think it is more about give and take than the money. Some may say who cares its just 8-10 boats. example of take why is there an 850 class when the has never been a 850 boat race in SBI. Idon't have a problem with adding an 850 classbut when asked to compromise on other issues its a no way. There would be no 850s if there was no OSS. Thats what I don't get.

Money whats $2000 when it going to cost $10,000 min all week. Well thats what it would cost me.

8-10 boats for boat count really no big deal counting the dollars. If Kyle Petty won Daytona cause Johnson, Gordon and Stewart didn't show up what would someone think about the victory. Say what you want about OSS but all the boats are on top of there game, but that really only influences a couple of classes.

When I see some comprimise it would be to make the sport better for us racer, till than Its about the money, and I can't support that. Thats my opinon, what it means nothing, and has no influence from the great split of 03

Mike....you have ben doing this for a long time....If you don't think JC dose not spend any money on Medical and saftey...then you should not come....why all the fighting...

You are willing to pay what? the entre fee....so you pay $1500 to race for 3 days, test for 2 days and you have prise money....and you will never support another one of SBI/APBA race in the 2009 seasons.....

AB started this thread about berrying the hatchet...and they we all need to get along and work with each other....you guys are not going to work with JC....you guys just want to race at his site for the Wolrds and then not suppot him for all of next year.....and now you post that you don't think he is spending anything on our safety.....Do you see how the hatchets keep flying....

You have guys on here saying JC is making a killing...which even Smitty a president of OPA is saying he's not...but you don't want to here it......and do you not see it...

Your own racers are coming to K.W. and like you they are long time racers....if JC is being so unfair...why are so many racers coming....

Again...we all would love to come to a race....not pay nothing...and get paid to race....but tell me....were is that today....you own a business...and you can do the math....you may not like how JC is doing things....but you have a Org to show us how it should be done....

If this is so easy...Put on World championship race and make it so good that every racer will attend.....and then you don't have to worrie about JC....

There is alot of crapp that is said how things should be...United We Race....then if its so easy and you guys think you know how its should be with no or low fee's...put that race on....and lets see who shows up.....

We are just racers.....you have the power of a Org that is run by racers....you guys need to make your Org on how you think it should be.....and if its as good as you think it is....THE RACERS WILL SHOW.....if they don't....then its not everyone elses fault....

You were going to race in Destin for your Wolrds....you were already going to spend the money for gas, hotel rooms, and spending money, the only thing more you are spending is the fee's...your fee's are not 10k.....I will give you the same advice that a board member of OSS once told me....If you cannot afford to race...you should not be racing and don't blame everyone else....and again...that came from a OSS board member....

Not sure if that answered my question?? But it is what it is and not going to change. All i'm trying to do is find away to get the few boats that might not come to be able to. Doesnt sounds like we are on the same page, you need to let the politics go and let Ron ,and John deal with that.

Not that i really want to do this but that was such a silly example about the SC850...So then i guess i could say if it wasnt for SBI there wouldnt be any SS, Turbine or SV unlimited. Remember OSS only started with 4 classes...See what i'm saying that can go on 4ever like a cpl of silly kids...Your turn my turn ect. But what is that fixing ??

Frank...the funnypart is....All racers have been invited...and all Orgs will be reprsented in K.W. but if those few boats don't get there way and don't show up....then it will not be a Unified World Championship....yeap...no EGO'S there.....
