Great pics!

What lens are you using?
Are you doing any post-processing to get some of those colors?
Can you post some of your exif data on one or two of the very clear action shots?

Awesome!

donzi pretty much summed it up.....where do you find that info? it is a L-series 100-400 canon lense with image stabilization. I use photo shop cs3 for processing I do a simple auto level, auto contrast, and then auto color (most of these I did not like the auto color) then I adjust the brightness and contrast to my liking. I am still getting used to the circular polarizer and sun hood on this lense it is a little different that the film camera I have used for years. thanks for all the kind words....it took me several years to get off my wallet and buy the digital (but the company i was working for last year was giving away best buy gift certs so I saved up a few and got the body and smaller lense so it wasnt so bad...) I am glad i have the equipment though it sure is fun....my favorite thing is how it catches the heat off the turbine boats exhaust...and in a couple bud light shots and one of wild ride the svl you can see the heat in the air off the tailpipes...

Thank You!

I guess I could have shown off my computer/programming skills and tracked that down myself.....

-then click 'more info'

That glass makes all the difference! I have a Canon DSLR, now I need a telephoto pro lens!!! It just shows how amateur photographers can now shoot near-pro like photographs with new technology... and some money
