donzi pretty much summed it up.....where do you find that info? it is a L-series 100-400 canon lense with image stabilization. I use photo shop cs3 for processing I do a simple auto level, auto contrast, and then auto color (most of these I did not like the auto color) then I adjust the brightness and contrast to my liking. I am still getting used to the circular polarizer and sun hood on this lense it is a little different that the film camera I have used for years. thanks for all the kind words....it took me several years to get off my wallet and buy the digital (but the company i was working for last year was giving away best buy gift certs so I saved up a few and got the body and smaller lense so it wasnt so bad...) I am glad i have the equipment though it sure is fun....my favorite thing is how it catches the heat off the turbine boats exhaust...and in a couple bud light shots and one of wild ride the svl you can see the heat in the air off the tailpipes...

That glass makes all the difference! I have a Canon DSLR, now I need a telephoto pro lens!!! It just shows how amateur photographers can now shoot near-pro like photographs with new technology... and some money
