Indiana race
See that there is a date after Labor Day for OSS to come to Bloomington IN, Lake Monroe. Has that been approved yet by all parties or still in the planning stages?

Got this email last nite......
It is with deep regret that I must cancel the September boat race on Lake Monroe. I would like to thank all of you for the help and support you have provided. Unfortunately we were unable to secure enough funds to make this a reality. All sponsorship monies are being returned in full and the volunteers are being notified. At this time I do not plan to pursue any future events on Lake Monroe. I believe I have something to show for the effort as I have made some great friends though this process. Again I thank all of you. Rick Lehman HOOSIER OFFSHORE CLASSIC, LLC. |
Was looking forward to it.
But in all honesty, from someone who lives on Monroe 4 days a week/ 5 months a yr, Monore is just too small for these boats to put on a show they deserve....perhaps the lack of intrest/funding?? The pits would have been great! |
