What is the hotel name in Savanna thats in the pits? And does anyone have there #? Is it the host hotel? Are they doing kilo runs this year?

I think it was the Westin Resort.

no kilos this year, but i heard they will be doing speed trials, could be a intresting way to set position for the races.

If it's the Westin Hotel the cheapest rate I could find on any of the discount hotel websites is $187/night. Ouch!

It's $179 per night. Ask for Group Sales at the hotel and tell them your with APBA.

We booked at Savannah Marroit @$180.00 per night. I don't know where it is as far as location to other activities.....Wardey

Yep, Westin is totally sold out. Can't even get a room at a higher rate.


I believe the Marriott is right across the river. There should be a ferry to the Convention Center (Dry Pits.)

I was told the Savannah Marriot was across the river from the Westin and you could take a water taxi over to the convention center or there was a bridge close by. If anyone knows Savannah please let me know. This is the Savannah Riverfront Marriot. Thanks, Wardey

The convention center is next to the Westin.

There is a Holiday Inn @ $80.00 per nite but its 5 miles away if you don't mind that. We were going to stay there but the family will be with me so for convenience we are at the weston.

I just snagged a cancelled room at the Westin. I still have a room with (2) double beds at the Marriot if anyone wants them. Let me know before I cancel them. Wardey

Hey guys, i live in savannah and the marriott is across the river from the westin. the westin is the only hotel on the pit side of the river. there is a Hyatt on the mariott side too that is right at the water taxi dock/ unless they do something different, you have to walk about 1/4 mile or more from the mariott to the water taxi dock to cross the river. if ya need any help, dont hesitate to call me. Hang on to that room for a day or so, We may be interested in it.

No prob Gordo.....I don't have to cancel them until 6:00pm the day before arrival. Keep checking with the Westin and you might find a cancellation like I did. I'm there from the 4th. until the 7th. and then stopping off at Steinahatchee for a few days of scalloping.....Wardey
