Default Baja Marine and International Truck and Engine Partner

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Baja Marine and International Truck and Engine
Partner for a Second Year with the Lucky 7's Poker Run Tour

BUCYRUS, Ohio (June 4, 2007) - Baja Marine is pleased to announce its 2007 Lucky 7's Poker Run Tour and event schedule. In a second year of partnership, Baja Marine and International Truck & Engine Corporation have brought together a 2007 Baja 35 Outlaw boat with an International(r) CXT(tm) truck, both featuring all-new, one-of-a-kind graphics created by Baja's in-house design group. This striking duo will be hitting the road for the 2007 Lucky 7's Poker Run Tour and making stops at nearly 20 events this season, from Florida to Ontario.

During the 2006 season, the boat and truck combo from Baja and International, dubbed PokerFace, racked up numerous awards across the country, including a first-place trophy at the Jacksonville Fire & Police River Run, the honor of "Best Graphics" at the 1,000 Islands Poker Run and "Most Impressive Tow Rig" at the Chicago Poker Run. This year, Baja anticipates even more excitement with Lucky 7's.

The designers at Baja have taken the skull motif from PokerFace and incorporated it onto a 35 Outlaw, with a head-turning scheme that embodies this year's tour theme of Lucky 7's, based on the boat's new Mercury Racing's 700 SCi engines. Flames surround the namesake cards on a canvas of bright orange. "The Lucky 7's 35 Outlaw takes the detail and eye-catching design of last year's PokerFace to a whole new level," said J.R. Jenney, Baja's director of sales. "And paired with the powerful International(r) CXT(tm), this duo will dominate this summer's poker run and events circuit."

The 35 Outlaw debuted as a new model in 2006, boasting numerous amenities and signature Baja performance, becoming a top-seller. Based on customer and dealer input, the 35 Outlaw features an enlarged head, and the bulkhead was eliminated for additional cabin space. Closed mold technology and a fiberglass liner/stringer system make the 35 Outlaw a solid and quiet boat. When the poker run is over, passengers can enjoy the expansive cabin and cool off with optional air-conditioning.

This year's Lucky 7's 35 Outlaw has even more fun-enhancing features, including a 2,560-watt Clarion stereo system with Sirius Satellite Radio, four 10-inch sub woofers and four pairs of component speakers for mid-range and high frequencies. Direct and indirect LED lighting in the engine compartment and indirect LED lighting for Clarion speakers, cockpit and cabin lengthens time out on the water. Captains will thrill at the custom embroidery in the cockpit and on the four McLeod bolsters while also reaping the benefits of a GPS navigation unit, Mercury Racing CNC-machined 5-blade propellers and Mercury Systemview Race Edition for interactive monitoring of engine operating parameters.

Eddie Marine has fabricated and coated the stainless steel and billet aluminum parts for the Lucky 7's 35 Outlaw, as well as the cleat bezels, stereo amp, racking system and created a striking swim platform designed to match the boat's custom graphics. "For Lucky 7's, everything is billet aluminum that's coated the specific color of orange to match the boat," said Ed Borges, president of Eddie Marine. "We thought it would be a neat and fun project, and we wanted to pull out all the stops, especially with the swim platform."

The International(r) CXT(tm), at 21 feet, is the largest production pickup truck in the world, featuring hip-high tires and a 9-foot tall cab. This ultimate towing vehicle boasts an International(r) MaxxForce DT diesel engine with 300 horsepower, 860 ft-lbs of torque and a 20-ton towing capacity.

"The International(r) CXT(tm) can effortlessly haul large boats like this Baja, in addition to getting you to that next poker run in style," said Melissa Gauger, marketing manager at International Truck and Engine Corporation in Warrenville, Ill. "We are proud to once again partner with Baja and look forward to what we hope will be another award-winning season for the 35 Outlaw and International(r) CXT(tm)."

The Lucky 7's 35 Outlaw, towed on a Heritage Custom trailer, also packs plenty of punch thanks to its dual Mercury 700 SCis, which are custom color-coordinated to match the boat's custom graphics. The 700 SCi engine is packed with game-changing technology that results in impeccable idle quality, instant throttle response and unmatched performance throughout the 4800-5200 rpm-rated engine operating range.

"The 35 Outlaw is a solid, top performing boat-a perfect match for the new 700 SCis," said Rick Mackie, Mercury Racing's senior marketing manager. "Baja and their Mercury Racing 525 EFI-powered PokerFace 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition stole the show throughout the 2006 poker run season. We are confident Baja will raise the bar once again with the new 700 SCi-powered Outlaw. We can't say enough about how proud we are to have our engines featured in Lucky 7's."

Baja fans can check out the Lucky 7's 35 Outlaw, its color-coordinated 700 SCis and the International(r) CXT(tm) at one of the many stops on the tour across the country. "We are excited to once again capture the full-throttle spirit of Baja with our Lucky 7's Poker Run Tour," said Dave Olson, president of Baja Marine. "This show-stopping rig is proof that Baja is synonymous with pushing the envelope in terms of both style and performance."
