Default MYSTIC Powerboats and Jacksonville POWER UP

Jacksonville, Florida, May 24, 2010…

...MYSTIC Powerboats and Jacksonville POWER UP
…for the 9th Annual “Jacksonville River Rally Charity Poker Run presented by Mystic Powerboats and Extreme Super Trucks”, June 3-6. In a statement from John Cosker, President, MYSTIC Powerboats, “We have been directing our efforts toward the Poker Run Market for some time now. The Pyburn’s do a great job…it’s a nationally recognized poker run and it’s close to home.”

The Mystic Party at 8:30 on Friday the 4th is only part of the festivities…

Bill Pyburn, President of the Jacksonville River Rally Charity Poker Run presented by MYSTIC Powerboats and Extreme Super Trucks stated: “It’s a first for us, in the nine years we’ve been doing this run, this is the first time we’ve had a Powerboat Manufacturer take a name-in-title-sponsorship and we are glad to have MYSTIC (Powerboats) onboard.” Pyburn continues, “…They bring a lot to the table, Aqua-Mania, JBS Racing and Cintron Liquid Energy…all very cool 50’(foot) cats alongside their first class race rigs to be seen by everyone in the new Manufacturer’s Midway.”

Aqua-Mania, reining SBI’s Turbine Extreme National Champion, will be on display with its entire traveling race headquarters/rig.

An event of this type normally wouldn’t garner Transport Rigs, Race Boats and large displays, but in this case, the racing heritage of Mystic Powerboats and its national champions will be descending on Jacksonville, June 3-6 at the Jacksonville Landing on the River Front. Rick Merola, Aqua-Mania’s 2009 National Champion Driver will be speaking at the driver’s meetings on Friday and Saturday. For a full Jacksonville Event Schedule: Click HERE.

Additionally, Jeff Stevenson of JBS Racing will have his full on race rig on display as he ready’s to go to South Florida’s Sunny Isles event the following weekend. The JBS 50’ Mystic Cat just came back from Lake Havasu’s Desert Storm Shootout where it took top honors of 188 MPH in the open metered mile and unofficial 203 the day prior. Jeff is planning to run in Jacksonville on Saturday, June 5th and will amaze onlookers as he fires up the twin 1,850hp T-53 Turbine Marine power.

Jeff Stevenson and the JBS Crew are a hit everywhere they go…he has been running more poker runs than races in 2010. Here pictured in Key West and Lake Havasu…

The Cintron Liquid Energy piston powered 50’ MYTIC cat crowd pleaser will be on static display in Jacksonville June 3-6.

Coining the title “Thunder Alley” on Thursday night…MYSTIC Powerboats encourages everyone to come to the Water Front Manufacturer’s Midway Street Party… and the MYSTIC Proof Party at Deep Blue in the Jacksonville landing.
