APRIL 27 - 30, 2011 LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA

Once again, Lakeracer LLC, Nordic Boats USA and Teague Custom Marine have joined together to bring the best event in the country! 2011 Desert Storm is guaranteed to be another huge collection of the most significant performance boats across the nation! Converging on Lake Havasu next week, Desert Storm 2011 starts on Wednesday the 27th and will continue through Saturday the 30th! Don't miss this MEGA Event!

Wednesday will begin the long weekend with special children and their families from all over Arizona, journeying to Lake Havasu for the event of a lifetime. Together with the Arizona Chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Havasu For Youth Organization, LakeRacer and the Platinum Powerboat Club present the second annual Desert Storm "Putin on the Wish"!

Thursday will continue the excitement with a down town Street Party, opening this year at noon, all of our participants and Sponsors are invited to display their boats on McCulloch Boulevard which will be closed off for the event. Friday morning back at the Nautical Resort, the Poker Run takes off with registration, drivers meeting and a parade thru the London Bridge Channel beginning the run.

Saturday morning begins at the Nautical Resort with registration and check in for the Desert Storm Shootout. There is also a special Military Appreciation Ceremony at Rotary Park (across Thompson bay from the Nautical Resort) with an opening Color Guard Presentation.
