Miami Update

Just spoke to the guys in the pits. Huge water and about 35 boats in the pits.

I'll get more info after the first race tommorow.

Re: Miami Update

why did 5 withdrawl??? which teams were they???

Re: Miami Update

I can't give reason for withdrawls, but-----
the Florida (at least Orlando TV) news mentioned the very rough water conditions along the East coast and inland lakes expected his weekend for the past 5 days.

Please be careful guys...

Re: Miami Update

I heard it's big, breaking rollers in the cut. If Smitty wouldn't go out to test, you know its big. His words where "Point Pleasant's got nothing on this place. Its gonna be wild tommorow."

Hope the fleet lasts past this first race.

Pete....don't know...I was told that at the drivers meeting 55 registerd and 5 withdrew...I try to find out who and why.....but my info is being given by the phone....

I heard a few boats did put in to test like JBS don't know the outcome

Re: Miami Update

The number of 35 was given by just looking around the pits. It's not exact. I'd trust the number of 50, suprized not more.

Re: Miami Update

Ron...thats what I heard last night there were 25 boats in the pits....apperently a lot of teams didn't have the boats in the pits

Is the 35 boats from SBI or APBA? Which organization didn't show? I thought they were merging this year or is that starting at the next race?
