Re: Who knew Mike Pappa?

This is one of KPoppa's good friends from Ohio. She told me about how everyone had helped her to find information about her dad and how friendly you all have been. I just want you to know that this means the world to her and her family. When she told me that she was trying to find anything out about her dad I told her I was there for her in any way she needed. I ran across this website while searching and this seems to be the key she needed. The pictures are amazing and I know there will be more. Thank you all for helping!

Spoke to Darren, he can't find any video.

Did you call Freeze Frame?

Kelly,
Have you tried to contact Timmy Fullam. Last I knew he was still living in West Springfield, MA. I haven't seen him in years, but he was always a very nice guy. I'm sure he would be glad to help you.

Re: Who knew Mike Pappa?

I emailed Freeze Frame but haven’t heard back yet. Someone from the site P.M.ed me and told me that they have a video of the 85 Championship race and that they will send me a copy as soon as they find it. I probably won’t have much luck with finding a interview, but just to have footage of that race would be great.

I haven’t tried contacting Timmy Fullam because before I found this site, I didn’t even know he existed. I guess I was just too young to remember that Dick had a son, and he’s never been mentioned to me before now. I think he was 24 when Dick was killed. I will definitely give him a call or send him a letter. Thanks for the address!

Kelly, There is a race in St. Clair MI on 7/30 & 7/31 I am not sure who might be there from your fathers racing days, but since you are in Ohio you might want to check it out. You would meet a lot of the guys in this section, and they could introduce you around the pits, and you could get a feel for what racing is like now. Donna

The same person who told me they’d send me a copy of the 85 race is from Cleveland, so her husband and she are going to the race in St. Clair and mentioned that I should come! I may be going to Lake Cumberland with the family that weekend, but if not, I’m definitely going to try to make it to the race!

Hi Kelly,

I don't know if the Osterville address is the right Tim Fullam.

You could try it though! Dick used to own an insurance agency and a real estate agency in West Springfield & I believe that Tim was involved in the businesses, but I'm not sure if he still is. The last I knew he was still living in West Springfield, MA. Dick also had a daughter, Lizzy, I have know idea of her wherabouts today.

My research may be wrong. Is the name spelled "Fulham" or "Fullam" as you spell it?
