Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
Did SBI keep the P4 and P5 purse because of the scoring issue and the boats breaking out????,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
.....SBI made $9,400!!!!!!!!??????? |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
Sbi Mad $$$9400.00 They Didnt Pay Out Anything
|
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
I'm no rocket scientist, but I fail to see how you can take in $5400, not pay out $4000 of it, and that makes $9400 ?
Seems like it would still be $5400, but all in SBI's pocket. :eureka: |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
Let's not forget the APBA/UIM Vig that SBI had to pay in order to be recongnized for the records....
I would be almost sure that bill was paid. If not, none of those records meant anything on Friday. |

Dry Sump,
Its Not Only The P Class They Got Messed Up Its Also Other Classes, Look At The Average Lap Speedes For Svl Never Seen Numbers Like That Before. A P4 Boat Guy Brakes Arm And Sbi Has Him Down For 70 Something Mile An Hour Lap Speeds He Told John He Was Runing 55 in The turns, And Two Other Teams Went To Him And Said The Readings He Gave Us At The Drivers Meeting Were Wrong And Showed Him There Gps. Something A Bit Wrong With The Scoring Especially If He Wants To Say The Course Was Right Make Shore You Dont Put Boats Down That Finished Half Laps Behind Other Boat At Finishing 4 Seconds Behind The Other Guy. The Average Lap Speeds Are Wrong And The Times The Boat Finished Are Wrong. And Reggie Water Isnt That Fast... Chris |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
Chris and Pops, I'm glad I'm not the only one that feel this way, I agree with you 100% There are just way too many errors. Like I suggested before, the only fair thing to do is to place the boats in the order that they finished the race.

This feeder class racing has turned into a circus, a contest, a show but not a race. No offense to the people doing it but let's face it, there are too many combinations of boats and engines running in these P classes. It can't and never will be fair running under the current format. I will admit that OSS has the right idea but has no feeder classes. |

We are REAL racers that run REAL races that take REAL chances and work REAL hard to make it happen. I have raced in F-2 and F-1 and I'll take the P-classes over them anyday. |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
RLW,
Sorry u feel that way,but believe me YOUR so called feeder class is some of the best racers that I've ever seen and I would put them up against your so called OSS racers any day.You make such a stupid statement, just shows you u know nothing about racing. With out YOUR so call feeder class you have no Offshore Racing. These teams move up in class in time, and that allows the sport to grow, instead of having to try and stealing boats. |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
RLW, Feeder Class? It feeds off my savings account the same way any other class of racing does.
|
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
:D You guys are missing the point.
First, I offer no disrespect to anyone. Second, not a stupid statement but rather an observation. Putting 38' boats against 25' boats in the same class does not offer parity and a fair race. Having equal size boats and equal size motors does create uniformity. There was a time, not long ago where that existed. The glory days of Factory racing brought more boats to St. Clair (in the Past) than what was there, this year, total. Good Luck where ever you go! :drink: |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
I also have to question the lap speeds in N.C. we ran a very Conservative race. , Hell we even completely stopped before crossing the start/finish line on one of our laps to fix our com and they still had us breaking out. Team closer to alotted lap speed in my book won. RLW
come out and play with us feeders? |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling

Completely stopped before crossing the start/finish line? Sorry my friend, that's not racing. It's a contest! |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
So Back To My Question Were Did All The Money Go
And Wat Are They Doing With The Trophys |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
RLW , hop in the purple boat, I'll show you racing. Guarantee we scare the living Shi# out of you. Smitty
|
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
Well I assume RLW is referring to The Flying Condo, that big BAD 38 footer that can't get out of it's own way in flat water but will do real well in rough water. I'm guilty, it's my boat, the one that got it's a$$ whopped by all those 26' boats. Things that make you go HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM !
|
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
I think there are 4 more races if you bump up p5 to p4 and p4 to p3, you lose $600 per boat, thats $4800 times 4 is $17,200. so just give everyone fifth and we let everyone come back and pay , we KEEP ALL THE $$$$$$ and the trophies......
THE KIDS RACED A FAIR RACE, THEIR BOAT WAS INSPECTED BEFORE AND AFTER THE RACE. THE BOAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE RAN USING A 54 CHIP BUT BECAUSE NO-ONE HAD ONE THEY RAN THE BOAT USING A 52 CHIP. I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THE KID'S MONEY AND TROPHY ARE. IF ANYONE KNOWS OR DISAGREES WITH ME CALL ME. POPS (JOHNNY) |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
POPS.....
SBI stated that they would not bump any boats up. they all get last place points and stay in the class they are in. anyone feel free to correct me if Im wrong. I believe thats what they said. I agree that if SBI feels that there were discrepancies, they should give those teams some type of concession. Innocent till proven guilty. Isnt that how it goes???? Bruce |
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
Mark....that is the most intelligent thing you have ever said. :D

Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
Yea Sharkey It Must Be In The Water, It Was Pretty Hot Maybe The Scorers Drank To Much Water And Started Yelling Boats Out To Fast And Got The Scoring Messed Up
|
Re: Washington,NC Race Ruling
We got DUKES back. They play by the rules and are a true P5 boat.

I would be almost sure that bill was paid. If not, none of those records meant anything on Friday. As for the lap times, it sure seemed a lot easier when all the P class boats had onboard/sealed GPS's. Didn't have to worry about discrepancies in lap times of inaccurate lap distances. Just my opinion, I may be wrong... |

Was it true it was $2500 to register for the KILO? That's a lot of change for no UIM Title.... :( Was there a UIM Sanction for last year's KILO's? If so, why wouldn't they have it this year? Did the drivers also know that it was not a sanctioned kilo before they registered? |
