Opa ????

With the new telemetry system and break out speeds set in classes, what is the rule on racing on a river with a current?
Does the max speed still apply and breakout is a DQ? Yes or NO
What is considered a breakout speed?
What is the penalty for breaking out?
Is there a fudge factor?
Who will be in charge of viewing the information?
Will the information be public knowledge to other racers?
Will there be say a group of say 3 people checking the data?
Should we have an extended meeting on this at St. Clair?
Is there still a prop calc?
Can you still challenge the top speed in a boat with an official?
What if that boat breaks out?

Not busting balls, just trying to let people know the rules. Its better to know up front then try and beat the system. Just race your A$$ off.

If I am over the top asking these questions please let me know and I will stop. We are all out to have fun but we are all highly competitive people.

Max Speed in each class no + or-. No DQ last place points last place finish. OPA tech will handle all equipment. All results are for all racers review, after OPA has concluded results. There will then be a One hour protest period. We will go over protest policy in ST Clair. Prop calc will still be in effect. Any team can still protest, a winning boat, and OPA will run the winning boat. I hope this helps. We will have a short meeting in St clair if anyone has any other questions. Thanks Randy, You input is always more than welcome. Smitty
