We got in yesterday at 4:00pm unloaded did a little grocery shopping for the frige , turned up the heater on the pool and got a good night sleep after 18 hours straight on the road.
My girls and I are going to go to breakfast and do a time study on how long it takes to get to RACE SITE HEADQUARTERS from our house that we leased for the week.
I checked my phone this morning Dean from team WAHOO has had some problems . Transmission and then lost a bearing on there trailer and going to give him a call see what I can do our crew will be leaveing soon from michigan maybe we can help.

Glad to see you guys made it safe, We ran into Neil friday and were throwing around the idea of heading down thursday for a couple days if Stacy can find some decent flight prices.

Ron, Pit's look pretty good so far, melissa and I are going down to the pit's to check it out better. Do we have assigned spots like in cambridge?? Do you have a itinerary for the going's on this week? Weather is high 60's low 70's and warmer this week.
We are sitting on the deck on the roof of our house we leased and haveing a few cocktail's before we go down the street to the pit's ,a few boats are here but I hear there are alot on the road's . THERE ON THERE WAY !
ALL THE ROAD'S LEAD TO DESTIN!!!!!! :D

I did a lot of traveling without the family this year to cover a lot of events.
I banked about 4 to 5 days of my vacation for my wife in order for us to do something this Fall.
Well, after a great deal of wine and dining this past week, she has offered to give up her time to allow me to go to cover the Worlds in Destin! :eek:
Is she the greatest wife anyone could have or what ? :)

I am looking to head out Wed evening. Looks like I may have a couple of drivers to pick up in Maryland from the Chesapeake Power Boat Club as well. :drink:

I am not sure where I am staying just yet, but by the sounds of it, there are plenty of rooms available. I might just wait till I get down there.
