So I take it you've been in the area lately?! Traffic is down to two lanes at metro (16mile) with the left lane all jacked up...you'll see what i mean. Also a word of caution - they had a speed trap setup on both the north and southbound direction over memorial day weekend. Probably 8 or so cops and tickets in construction zones suck!!! Then again all of michigan is a construction zone...

My trust is in Racegirl's navigation.
I still say it cannot be worse than the Shore traffic on the Parkway, the Jersey Turnpike, getting outta Manhattan through the Holland tunnel in rush hour or any given day on the BQE, LIE or Belt Parkway in NY.
But I thank ya guys, we'll look into alternate routes in case the need arises.
Oh yeah, what the ___ is orange barrel season.

Seriously, I-94 is a parking lot from Metro Pwy to the Algonac exit (7 miles). It will take you an extra hr at 4pm. An alternative would be to take Gratiot Ave up to 23 Mile Rd. Either way, it sucks!
