Class 5 Competition
 

Since the begining of the 2006 OPA racing season with the revised class structure, through the St Clair race this past weekend;Class 5 has had six different winners in the eight races that were actually run!(Two race formats in Cambridge and Destin counted as one; and Pt Pleasant in 06 and Algonac in 07 were cancelled due to fog.)Congratulations to Specialized Racing on thier big win this past weekend;and for all of the teams for making the racing competitive,exciting and fun.

There are a number of other teams that are capable of winning at any given race as well.It was great to see Papa Dukes/Wicked Performance Marine step up to Class 5 in St Clair;they were definately going to be serious contender until they had some mechanical problems.With the growth potential of Class 5 as well as all of the other classes;things are going to get even better.Thanks OPA.
