Rick, I saw that it left the date open for expiration, in the past all of mine had a 2 year period b4 renewal. Make sure since for some reason they have no clue what it is they dont yank your chain on that issue

What does OPA require? Every year or is it good for 2 years? I have one that does not expire untill 10/31/08 is it still good?

I Know Some Places Give 2 Years but if you have some Condition like diabeties/High Blood Pressure ect. they like to check you every year. It depends on the place. My first year I got a 2 year certificate The second time I went back they gave me a one year, I dont have any conditions but brought my fathers card (who has diabeties) in to show what I needed, and they used his date for mine?

The OPA requires a valid CDL, so if your is valid till 10/08 I would say yes, your good to go till 10/08
