Has there ever been a race in a triangle course before? That is on a 5-7 mile course.:eek: Now that should be a great equalizer to have to turn that sharp. I like the idea on possible calmer courses. Bring your A game and get down low in your seats.

Hey MD,
Both Cambridge and Patchogue have real sharp turns and Cambidge is kinda triangular. Can't wait till Harrison, I'm gonna stay through the week till St Claire, bringing the bike to do some cruising, maybe take a ride to Canada. This course is gonna be wild, I keep getting flash backs of Mentor, Ohio.
See you soon, Louie

Wahoo ATV 06-15-2008 07:59 PM

Best View of the race will be in our rear view camera! You will see the rest of the Class 2 fleet. If you can't be in the Wahoo boat then Metro Beach or Gino's Surf will have the second best seat in the house.

Or you could volunteer as a patrol boat.

louietherigger 06-15-2008 08:39 PM

Hey Dean, Are you backing your boat up to the race course and leaving it on the trailer? :evilb: Louie

mesablue 06-15-2008 10:51 PM

Thanks I'll be there!!!

SWEET! I don't even have to leave my marina, I can sit in the pool and watch the race.:ernaehrung004:

DTD 06-20-2008 07:54 PM

Should be good viewing from Metro Beach - can't wait

Wahoo ATV 06-21-2008 08:04 AM

Well we got everything pretty much nailed down now. The Dry Pits will be at Metro Beach Park and the Wet Pits will be at Beacon Cove Marina.

Beacon Cove has transient slip available for this race at a discount if you mention OPA. From their point you will have the best view. Please give them a call. Mention OPA.

Everyone should give Dean and big pat on the back! Without his time and effort this race would not have been pulled off!

I'll be updating the site monday with the new information

DriverofDonzi 06-21-2008 08:56 AM

Cintron, is the purse sponsor of this event. They have been excellent to work with. The promoter up there, turned out to be a flop. Dean, TJ, and Co. picked up the ball, and made this happen. Thanks guys. Smitty

AugiePensa 06-21-2008 12:12 PM

Thanks Guy's!

louietherigger 06-21-2008 08:58 PM

Hey Dean and Crew, Great job, just don't think we are gonna take it easy on you in class 2. Your still in line for a spankin!! LOL, Louie

Wahoo ATV 06-22-2008 08:46 AM

The only spankin I'm gonna get is at Racer's party.. :drink:

Wahoo ATV 06-22-2008 08:51 AM

We are very lucky Cintron is supporting this event. It would not have happened without their tremendously generous support. Also I tell you how supportive the Coast Guard, Sheriff Dept and Fire Department have been. Please thank them when you see them. They are giving us Patrol boats, EMS, Divers, Rescue vehicles and political clout. Harrison Twp is awesome!

Thanks to TJ, Derek, Rick, Duane, Ed Smith, Smitty and tons more local racers helping

fantastixvoyage 06-22-2008 11:34 AM

Great work Dean! :ernaehrung004:
