Be sure you don't take 75 any further than 94, freeway has been under construction and is closed completely more than its been open. A total cluster to be sure.

construction and lane closures on 75 past 275, so 75-275-94 is the best bet...and the bad offramp on the way back...I launched the motorhome..woohooo!!!!!

I'd avoid that Southfield at all costs, especially if you're towing.

Coming from KC I don't think the Detroit roads are any worse than there, except the Southfield. I commute on it every damn day (for now anyways).

Yeah it has been about a year and a half since I've been up that way, used to drive from Toledo to Southfield every damn day for about 4 years or so. I liked taking the Southfield except for where it first turns into the Fwy down in Allen Park, the pigs were always all over that section. I guess when you drive those roads every day (Ohio/Michigan) you don't realize how crappy they are, I've been down in B-more for about 5 months and now when I go back to Ohio I feel like I'm driving through washboards constantly!
